Last week, United Arab Emirates–based DAMAC Properties announced plans to build the world’s first Bugatti-styled homes, in Dubai. The limited-edition houses—a collection named Ettore 971 after the automaker’s founder, Ettore Bugatti, and the UAE’s international calling code—will feature an all-glass garage that, presumably, will house Bugattis for neighbors and guests to see.
Each villa will have seven bedrooms and feature floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Tiger Woods–designed course at the city’s Trump World Golf Club. According to DAMAC, the interiors will be styled to mimic the “sleek elegance of Bugatti’s Veyron series,” which holds the world record for the fastest road car (reaching a high speed of roughly 267 m.p.h.).
The residences will be part of Akoya Oxygen, a 55-million-square-foot development that will include, along with the golf course, a spa, a yoga center, an organic market, restaurants, and waterparks. The starting price for an Ettore 971 villa is approximately $10 million. Sale dates have not been announced.
